eGovernment Authority Honors the Mobile Campaign Winners 

The eGovernment Authority wrapped up its mobile awareness campaign (one of the main four service channels) that was held in Bahrain City Center Mall, from 5 th Dec to 5 th Jan, to promote the eservices provided through the mobile portal, and clarify the mechanism of using the services to the public through WAP or SMS.

In this regard, Mr. Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, CEO of the eGovernment Authority , emphasized that: " Our aim in this campaign is to create the awareness on the mobile services offered, presenting the ease of use and availability”. ”.

Al Qaed, added: "We received positive impacts in this successful campaign, from the various categories, levels and nationalities who visited the eGovernment Pavilion and identified through the mobile portal, as everyone with a mobile phone is able to communicate with the various ministries and governmental entities easily, in addition to benefit from the services that are designed specifically for mobile phones, as this channel provides version of eGovernment portal”

The raffle draw of the mobile campaign winners who participated in the awareness campaign were awarded by Mr. Rashid Abdullah Al-Hammad, Director of Human Resources, Finance and Capacity Building of the eGovernment Authority. Winners names: Mohsen Nader Al Hashimi, Redha Hameed Ali, Hamad Maseeh Shihab, and Sanad Mohammed Sanad.

The mobile portal currently offers 31 government services, as they can ba accessed by following simple steps. as the services include: local and international news, enquire electricity and water bill, flight information, calculate body mass index, Contact details of hospitals and health centers, list of embassies and consulates in Bahrain, financial support service of citizens, enquire doctor details, graduate exam results, contact details of pharmacies, check your blood record, tracking of postal packages, legality of the foreign worker, complaints to government departments, Check drug prices, Ramadanyat, health worker immunization record, immunization record of students, the currency convertor.
