eGovernment Authority honor all its partners in the achievement of UN eGovernment Readiness Report 2010

In recognition for the outstanding role Bahrain reached 1 st in the middle east and Arab countries, 3 rd in Asia and 13 th worldwide in the UN-eGovernment readiness report 2010, HE Shaikh Ahmed Bin Ateyatalla Al Khalifa, Minister of Cabinet Affairs honored, in a special ceremony, ministries and governmental entities involved in reaching this exceptional achievement.

The ceremony was attended by all undersecretaries, assistant undersecretaries, heads, and members of the eGovernment transformation working groups from all ministries and government in Bahrain as well as the Supreme committee members of eGovernment strategy 2007- 2010, and all partners, and staff that worked with the eGovernment Authority.

On this occasion, the CEO of the eGovernment Authority, Mr. Mohammed Ali AlQaed, addressed the gathering commenting that: The Key factor behind this commendable results is the integrated and excellent team work of dedicated employees from ministries, government organizations and eGovernment Authority, along with the high spirit of cooperation and team work that distinguished us from other countries and that made Bahrain being amongst advanced countries in eGovernemnt in the world”

AlQaed referred, to the full support the program received from HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for ICT and his eagerness to enable suggestions provided by the eGovernment , in addition to the unlimited support the program received from HE Shiakh Ahmed bin Ateyatalla Al Khalifa, Minister of Cabinet Affairs.

Mr. AlQaed added that “ in turn, it is one of our commitments to recognize the great efforts and extend our thanks to everyone who had a role in this success which held Bahrain's name and contribute realizing Bahrain Vision 2030 which aims at making Bahrain a hub for foreign investment in the middle east, in parallel with the facilities provided to create economical growth with diversified income”.
